The 504th recipient is Zoe Ganslaw of PHS Community Farm in East Norriton, PA. Zoe writes:

What self-care and well-being mean to me as a farmer: “Having the time and resources to manage stress and do preventative care for longevity in the field. The ability to care for myself and therefore what I am growing and the community I serve.”

How I might use this $100 self-care award: “To contribute to physical therapy costs that are not covered by my insurance to manage a back injury.”

Most important self-care needs that contribute to my well-being as a farmer: "Time to recuperate and care for my body, continue to build strength and manage pain.”
