What self-care and well-being mean to me as a farmer: “Self-care means to me means doing something that's just for me that is not work related. Getting a massage could be self care, buying myself something, like a new purse or shoes, just because, not that I needed them.”

How I might use this $100 self-care award: ”I think I'll put the money in a savings account to start a savings that I don't touch. Often, whenever we put money to the side, something comes up and we use it for that, but the older I get, having a savings is a luxury most can't afford. So having a savings is my idea of self-care, because, you never know what will happen.”

Most important self-care needs that contribute to my well-being as a farmer: "Probably getting a few sessions in the Stretch Zone Lab would be awesome! Bending and lifting can be hard on the body, and I've seen commercials of stretching and bending people back to better health.”
