The 468th recipient is Laura Reusche of Rainbow Rotations Farm in Olympia, WA. Laura writes:

What self-care and well-being mean to me as a farmer: “Self-care and well-being means taking care of my body and mind. For example: consistent and healthy meals, adequate sleep, stretching, after-sun skin care, muscle rolling, mental health counseling, and spending time with loved ones.”
How I might use this $100 self-care award: “I will use this award to put towards booking a massage or attending a yoga class. Since I don’t have the economic benefit of being able to attend these things normally, I’d usually try to find time to do it at home; which then takes mental energy to hold myself accountable to doing that.”
Most important self-care needs that contribute to my well-being as a farmer: "Mental health counseling, consistent and healthy meals, physical rest and recovery such as sleep, stretching, after sun skin care, and muscle rolling or massage.”
