Our 34th @realfarmercare recipient - Kat Becker of Cattail Organics @cattailorganics in Athens, WI.
Kat writes, “My name is Kat Becker and I own @Cattailorganics - an organic vegetable, flower, bee keeping and maple sap collecting farm in the North Central part of Wisconsin. I grow just under 5 acres of mixed vegetables and flowers and manage a 50-acre farm with a maple grove, a growing orchard, a few family animals, and a beautiful trout stream. I share my life and farm with my three kids (6, 9, and 12) and work in partnership with my husband who has Growing Earth Farm. I am honored to be selected and nominated by my wonderful FarmHer friend @lizgraznak and I must admit it took me a long time to figure out that self-care is more than buying myself reasonable rain gear. I have decided to use this wonderful @realfarmercare gift to go to a “fancy fish fry” with my family.
