Our next @realfarmercare recipient - Farm to Table Kids @farmtotablekids in Yarmouth, ME. Founder and farmer Stephanie McDonough @farmer_steph writes, “Farm to Table Kids is an educational farm and campus in North Yarmouth, Maine with a mission to inspire children and families in kitchens and gardens through hands-on learning experiences at our organic farm. In 2017 after my 5 year old son won his stage 4 cancer battle, I returned to our community with a full heart of gratitude for supporting us in our dark time. In an effort to positively impact as many children as possible with the message of organic gardening and caring for Mother Nature I started a summer camp program for children. At camp we are immersed in nature: we plant, harvest and cook farm to table recipes with our harvest. In the shoulder season we offer homesteading education to adults & schools. With the @realfarmercare donation, I plan to host a friends and family gratitude day at the farm. We will celebrate a new season while getting some early spring chores done with our community of volunteers.
