What self-care and well-being mean to me as a farmer: “Making intentional choices to maintain your physical and mental health even during the unpredictable challenges that come with working the land. This includes prioritizing sleep, nutrition, hydration, stress management, and injury prevention.”

How I might use this $100 self-care award: “I would use the award to enroll in a Community Ed. Yoga class. I have recently discovered how beneficial Yoga is for me during the season.”

Most important self-care needs that contribute to my well-being as a farmer: "Taking time to stretch every day would go a long way in improving my self-care as a farmer. A Yoga class would help strengthen this practice and keep me accountable.”
