What self-care and well-being mean to me as a farmer: “Self care to me is about managing my needs. In this line of work we are asking a lot of our bodies, minds and spirits! I try to practice self care in each of these areas by regularly doing things like stretching, meditation, and scheduling rest time.”

How I might use this $100 self-care award: “I would use this award to pay for gym time during the off season or for a massage during growing season.”

Most important self-care needs that contribute to my well-being as a farmer: "The most important self care needs I have are keeping my body in shape in the off season and massage/recovery/utilizing gear (like good shoes, knee pads, sun protection, etc) in the growing season.”
