What self-care and well-being mean to me as a farmer: “Self-care in the context of farming means working at a reasonable pace and taking time away from the farm when possible to avoid burnout. Sometimes stepping away allows me to find new sources of inspiration and keeps me in touch with myself.”

How I might use this $100 self-care award: “I would love to book a massage with the $100 award. I have never had a massage before, it’s one of those luxuries that’s a bit out of my budget.”

Most important self-care needs that contribute to my well-being as a farmer: "I think that taking day trips when possible contributes the most to my well-being. It’s a lot to live and work in one place all of the time.”
