What self-care and well-being mean to me as a farmer: “Getting to enjoy the fruits of our labor! Sometimes we get so busy that it's hard to find the time to prepare, cook, and enjoy our own produce.”

How I might use this $100 self-care award: “We would use the award to purchase ingredients (additional to our produce) for a community meal. This would be to feed us, our volunteers and friends, and to take the time to celebrate and highlight some of the produce of the season.”

Most important self-care needs that contribute to my well-being as a farmer: "For us, feeling well cared for goes hand-in-hand with feeling well fed. Having a good, nutritious meal goes a long way in easing some of the stress of a busy day.”
